Robinas van Persie zais pries Hamburg
The Dutch striker suffered an ankle injury in the 1-1 draw against Newcastle and initial indications had suggested he would be unavailable for the visit of the German outfit as The Gunners attempt to gain control of Group G.
Van Persie was taken for X-rays following the draw with The Magpies, and the results have been encouraging with the former Feyenoord man now taking part in training in London Colney.
Sweden captain Freddie Ljungberg joined in after being rested for the weekend's game following a spell on the sidelines, whilst vice-captain Gilberto also returned as expected after missing the game against The Magpies to return home due to family problems.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was preparing for the prospect of having to face the German outfit with a weakened squad, but with the trio returning the London side will be hopeful of securing the win that could take them above CSKA Moscow at the top of Group G.
Ljungberg has been suffering with a calf injury for several weeks, but, along with Gilberto, could now return to the Gunners midfield in place of Julio Baptista and Mathieu Flamini.
Van Persie's likely availability means he should retain his place wide on the left, with Thierry Henry playing as the lone striker after being rested for the first half against Newcastle before rescuing a point with a superb free-kick.
Gunners suffer Gallas blow
Arsenal defender William Gallas is expected to be sidelined for several weeks after pulling a thigh muscle.
The French defender has been in impressive form ever since his summer move from rivals Chelsea, but Gallas will now miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League game with Hamburg after suffering the injury in training.
Depending on his rate of recovery the versatile defender may also be absent for the Group G finale away at Porto as The Gunners aim to ensure their progress to the knockout stages of Europe's premier competition.
Gallas may also be considered a doubt for the Premiership showdown against his former side on December 10, when Arsene Wenger's side travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Jose Mourinho's reigning champions.
With Gallas sidelined for the visit of Hamburg, Wenger is likely to call on one of his young Swiss internationals Johann Djourou or Philippe Senderos to play alongside Kolo Toure at the heart of the Arsenal backline at Emirates Stadium.
Hmm nzn ... pagal mane tai Van Persie arba Hlebas vertesni buvo..
Jau ko ko, bet patirties tai ir ManU ir Chelskis ir tas pats Liverpool man atrodo daugiau turi 🙄
